P4C: Plans for 2020
It's been six or so years since my first Paying for College Post; which was back in 2014. From there we discussed Federal Grant programs, school loans, scholarships, seasonal work and side gigs. A contest or two were even thrown into the mix.
Like the ebb and flow of the tides, posting rates started to fluctuate. Posts have gone from twice a week to once week and from once a week to whenever. Based on the frequency, a rework of sorts is coming to the forefront.
Starting in January 2020, weekly posts will be reduced to one post a month. It sounds like a drastic cut, but it makes more sense to do things this way. The early part of the month is an ideal time so it'll likely be within the first ten days.
Focus will still be on potential scholarship opportunities in addition to internships and contests. Side gigs might have a mention; things are still iffy at the moment. For now, monthly posts from January onward.
