December 2019 Scholarships

December 15

ScholarshipPoints

The first scholarship I'm going to share is sponsored by ScholarshipPoints. I've used SP in the past and know they host a lot of scholarships throughout the year with 4 of them being $10K scholarships. 12/15 is the deadline for the for the last $10K scholarship of the year.

If you don't have enough points don't worry, there are other scholarships you can enter for the month of December or you can start saving up your points for the next 10K scholarship drawing which will be in March 2020; be sure to enter points before the deadline.

Burger King Scholars

It's been a while since I've highlighted BK for scholarships but this time I remembered. The BK Scholars Program is for high school seniors with at least a 2.5 GPA or higher. Even if you are related to an employee of the company, you're still eligible to participate.

In addition to the above, you need to be active in the community along with extracurricular activities associated with your school. The scholarship is open to residents of the US, Canada and Puerto Rico. In addition to the above, you'll have to "plan to enroll full-time in 2019-20 at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school" in one of the three aforementioned countries.

PixelPlex

While doing research on internships, I remember coming across this company while browsing a list I made. Well, PixelPlex surfaced on the radar yet again, but this time for a scholarship. If you're majoring in a field that falls under STEM along with economics and business then this scholarship is for you.

One of the main requirements is that you write an essay on one of the provided prompts. The scholarship page houses the rules along with the writing prompts for the essay. With that said, be ready to write at least 500 words.

Please spell check and proofread your work; yeah, a no-brainer right?
