Micro Jobs: Overview

There are so many ways and opportunities for one to generate income but not all options are school schedule friendly; especially if you have one of those schedules that have you scratching your head some days. Micro jobs have been making a resurgence, for me anyway, and is a pretty good way for one to generate income even during minute [my-newt] breaks from school work.

What are micro jobs you ask? Well, they're the type of job one can do at any time, from anywhere regardless of the complexities present in the everyday. Its somewhat similar to freelance but a bit different.

the room nor time to access a computer and or laptop.*
The tasks can range from small to large depending on what you're capable of doing within a particular time frame. Writing tasks can be completed within short time frames but this is heavily dependent on what it is you're writing.

Short poems, briefs and short articles can typically be completed in under a day; especially when the subject matter is within your niche.

Have extra time on your plate? Then op to work on and complete larger tasks like composing articles of 350+ words, writing prose and possibly ebooks.

Where are these jobs?
Guess jumped a creek here. Being so amped about micro job opportunities I completely forgot to mention starting points. There are a variety of platforms online through which to find these work opportunities. Some are local job posting sites and others are purely online; they post jobs and if you're interested you can offer to complete said tasks.

Don't worry too much about not being super tech savvy. There are opportunities out there that you can access the timeless way; pay a visit in person. Good starting points would be looking small businesses; call ahead to arrange an appointment as courtesy.

Small businesses will almost always have something that needs to get done. Be it simple typing, organizing, running quick errands and possibly micro tasks of the likes of writing, designing and possibly coding. Even after your job is complete, try to keep in touch with these businesses because: 1) you'll be in the know for upcoming projects and 2) it'll make for good networking skills.
